Canada grants asylum to Saudi teen fleeing alleged abuse

A Saudi teenager who took to social media to plead for asylum, is now en route to Canada. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed the government has agreed to welcome Rahaf Mohammed al-Qunun. The young woman's story made international headlines after she fled alleged abuse from her family to seek asylum, but was stopped at a Bangkok airport by Thai immigration police and denied entry.
