Description

Guinness World Records has officially awarded Masazo Nonaka title of oldest man living at the incredible age of 112 years and 259 days, in special ceremony. Nonaka was born on July 25, 1905 -- 42 days before the Russo-Japanese War ended. A farmer and lumberjack in his earlier youth, Nonaka ran a hot-spring resort in his hometown Ashoro, where he raised two sons and three daughters. According to local welfare authorities the 112-year-old Nonaka has an insatiable appetite for sweets, especially strawberry shortcake.
